Photo of the day: out building, Lincoln Log Cabin State Historic Site

Wildflowers bloom in late September in front of an out building at the Lincoln Log Cabin State Historic Site, Lerna, Il. 35mm black and white negative.

This image was taken at the Lincoln Log Cabin State Historic Site, in Lerna, Il. It is a working historic farm on 86 acres of the original homestead of Thomas and Sarah Bush Lincoln, father and step-mother of Abraham Lincoln. It is a fantastic site to visit. There is a reproduction of the original Thomas Lincoln home, as well as an interpretive center and gift shop. It is a short distance from Charleston, Il. and worth the trip. Photo was taken on Arista.Edu Ultra 200 film, 35mm negative.
